We always enjoy our special guests that visit the school, and welcoming players from the Sydney Swans last month was no exception!

Two of the teams most senior players- Kieren Jack and Josh Kennedy, both co-captains of the Swans, gave the students an insight into the game of AFL football. Kieren, who has played over 248 games and who holds a MBA, encouraged the children to have an active lifestyle, healthy diet and to work hard at school. Josh, who has played over 227 games also gave a very similar message to the children, sharing his story as to how he became a professional football player and what he loves most about the sport. Although the rain kept everyone inside, Years 5 and 6 were still able to have an indoor clinic with the players and coaches. It was a lot of fun for everyone!
