Setsubun, &#8220;seasonal division&#8221; is a festival held on February 2, 3 or 4, one day before the start of spring according to the Japanese lunar calendar. Setsubun is considered a new start of sorts.<br \/>\nYear5 and 6 students from the International Division were celebrating Setsubun with all our kindergarten students. They led the event by teaching about Setsubun and singing the Mamemaki song. Lastly, we did Mamemaki, bean throwing, all together. We had some friendly Oni (Yr 5\/6 students) and brave kindergarten children threw beans at them. We had a lot of fun!
