Yesterday, our school held a Peace Assembly with a very special guest, Ms. Keiko Ogura, a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing.<\/div>\n
Through her personal story, Ms. Ogura shared the importance of \u201cnot fighting,\u201d \u201caccepting others,\u201d and \u201ccherishing family and friends.\u201d She reminded our students that these small acts can lead to a world without war.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Led by our Japanese Division Year6 students, the whole school joined together to fold paper cranes, which will be sent to Hiroshima as a symbol of our wish for peace.<\/div>\n
To conclude the assembly, our Koto Club performed a beautiful piece of music.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
