At SJIS children benefit from a range of great spaces in both the built and natural environments.
Classrooms are large, air-conditioned and equipped with interactive whiteboards to enhance active learning. A specialist computer room, science laboratories and spaces for music and home science learning are also provided.
The beautifully maintained SJIS field track and grass oval is the epicentre of our much-loved school events, such as the annual Sports Day and regular PE lessons. You can often find SJIS students riding unicycles on this oval on a beautiful Sydney day!
Our library hosts a large range of Japanese and English books with over 20,000 novels, including children’s books, teen and literature novels and popular Japanese Manga.
