At SJIS, we pride ourselves on offering a distinctive bilingual and bicultural education. Our students learn side-by-side on one campus, following either the Japanese Division’s curriculum approved by MEXT or the International Division’s curriculum, which follows the New South Wales (NSW) syllabus just like other local schools. This provides a rich, integrated environment where our students are taught to act as “bridges,” using their language skills and experiences to contribute both locally and internationally.
