Our recent Books and Buddies event was a wonderful success! Year 5 and 6 students took on the role of “reading buddies,” partnering with K-4 students to explore engaging stories together. Using the Super Six Comprehension Strategies and Visible Thinking routines, buddies made connections, asked questions, and brought stories to life! The event not only deepened comprehension skills but also showcased our senior students’ leadership and mentorship in a joyful, collaborative atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a memorable day of learning and friendship!
